Choosing a pair for the occasion
For a wedding you're attending. Chandbali or a heavier kundan jhumka. Pick the colour that picks
up the embroidery on your outfit — green, rani pink and maroon carry through most of our bridal
range, so you can match rather than approximate.
For a sangeet or party. American Diamond danglers. They catch stage and flash photography better
than anything else in the category, and they read as far more expensive than they are.
For daily wear. Ear cuffs and lightweight studs. Our brass cuffs clip on in seconds, weigh almost
nothing, and don't pull on the lobe over a long day.
For gifting. Anti-tarnish pairs in the CA$24–29 range are the safest bet — they arrive looking
expensive, they survive being worn without much care, and they come from a real store in Halifax
with a phone number on it.
A note on comfort: heavy jhumkas are beautiful and they are heavy. If you're wearing them for
eight hours, look for the ghunghroo and lightweight series — same silhouette, a fraction of the
weight.
Looking after plated jewellery
Four habits that will double the life of the finish:
- Perfume and hairspray first, earrings last. Alcohol and aerosols are what dull plating fastest.
- Off before water. Showers, pools, and especially the ocean.
- Dry storage, separately. A soft pouch in a dry drawer — not a bathroom hook, not loose in a
jewellery box where pieces scratch each other. - Wipe after wearing. A dry soft cloth, ten seconds, removes the skin oils that cause most
discolouration.
Never use silver polish or a dip on gold-plated pieces; it strips the plating.

delivery company at the door. Orders under CA$25 sent by standard shipping may go by untracked
Canada Post.

We don't accept returns or exchanges. It's how we keep these prices where they are, but it means
you should be sure before you click. Read the product description, check the dimensions, and if
you're unsure about a colour or a size, call or email us first — we'd much rather spend five
minutes helping you choose than have you stuck with the wrong pair.
If something arrives damaged, tell us within 3 business days of delivery. Email
info@krishnacollections.ca or call 902-456-8844 with a photo and we'll sort it out. Claims after
that window can't be accepted.
Most pairs here run CA$15–68. A single pair won't reach free shipping — three usually will.
